Before you engage.
The questions prospective clients ask most — about licensing, officers, response, and how a program comes together.
Licensing
Yes. Meridian Protective Group holds a Texas DPS Private Security Bureau company license (illustrative #C-09471 for this template), carries $5,000,000 in general liability, is fully bonded, and maintains workers’ compensation for every officer. We provide a certificate of insurance on request.
Officers
Both. Unarmed officers hold a Texas DPS Level II non-commissioned registration; armed officers are Level III commissioned and have completed firearm proficiency, state law, and use-of-force training. Executive protection details are led by Level IV personal protection officers. We recommend the right posture for your risk profile.
Every officer clears a criminal background check and DPS fingerprint check before their first shift, holds current state licensing, and maintains CPR / first-aid certification. Ongoing in-service training covers de-escalation, report writing, and post-specific procedures.
Operations
Our command center is staffed 24/7 with licensed dispatch. Mobile patrol averages roughly seven minutes to a call-out in our core DFW coverage area, and every fixed post has a direct line to dispatch and field supervision. Response times vary by location and traffic.
It is the operational hub: licensed dispatch monitors posts and patrol units, watches remote video for monitored sites, coordinates alarm and police response, logs every incident, and is the single number your team calls at any hour.
Executive Protection
Yes. Executive protection details are tailored to the principal — plainclothes, low-profile posture, and advance work designed so the protection is felt as reassurance, not intrusion. Discretion and confidentiality are foundational to how we operate.
Getting started
Request a security assessment. We walk your site or map your detail at no cost, identify gaps, and return a scoped written proposal with post count, hours, and a transparent rate before any deployment. Most programs can stand up within days.
Service area
We operate across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex — Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Frisco, Arlington, Irving, and the surrounding communities. Larger or recurring contracts outside the core area are scoped on request.
